Pricing

Two rates.
The honest one for understanding.
The full one for building.

We don’t profit from understanding your problem. We profit from building the solution. That’s why Discovery is at cost — and why everything else is published openly below.

Every stage, every rate

What you pay, and what you get for it.

Stage 01

Scoping call

30 minutes with Matt. We walk through the FLOW Method on a real workflow. Honest fit check — if we’re not right for you, we say so and point you somewhere better.

Free

Stage 02

Discovery

We map the workflow at all four FLOW Method layers — Process, Step, User Story, Acceptance Criteria. Output: a scoped quote for the next Release. At cost. We don’t mark this up.

$100/hr

at cost

Stage 03

Release

One complete, discrete, usable workflow built and shipped. Includes walkthrough video and a review call. Then we kick off the next Discovery. Total cost is set by the Discovery scope before the Release starts.

$184/hr

scoped per Release

Why Discovery at cost

Discovery at cost is a trust signal — not a discount.

Most consultancies bury the markup in the “research phase.” The result: they have a financial incentive to drag Discovery out and pad the quote at the end.

We put Discovery on the same financial footing as our own salaries. No margin on Discovery means we move fast and scope honestly — because we only make money once you decide to build.

The result: ~75% of scoping calls become engagements. Not because we’re great at sales, but because the math is on the table.

Common questions

Anything else?

Can we skip Discovery?

No. Discovery is what makes the Release scope accurate. Skipping it almost always means re-doing it later — and you pay more in rework than in the original Discovery.

Is the $184/hr negotiable?

It's market for senior no-code work. We don't discount the rate; we scope smaller Releases if budget is tight.

What if a Release runs over the scoped hours?

Discovery sets the scope. If we underscope, we eat the overage. If you change the scope mid-Release, that's a new Discovery.

Do you do retainers?

Not really. The loop is the retainer. Discovery → Release → Review → next Discovery is open-ended for as long as you've got the next thing worth building.
